The pressure to get a job instead of an education

In his story, Opportunity Knocks - Job or Education, Sean Morris says he wants to go to university, but says he and his friends feel lot of pressure to get a job quickly.  The reasons for this include;

1. Young Liberians want to obtain material things and have to help support our families - both here and back in Liberia.
2.  Some think because they are in their 20s they should be working and not studying.
3.  Support services such as AMES (Adult Multicultural Education Services) and particularly Centrelink place emphasis on finding employment as soon as possible.

Do you agree that young people feel pressured to get a job rather than study?
